"Rick, I had no idea you guy's we so talented! I just spoke with Francis (mother of the bride) and she said everyone is still talking about the band. They said it's the most fun anyone has ever had at a wedding! Fred and I would like to know if you guy's are playing anywhere else. We'd come up from Atlanta just to listen to you guy's! After many weddings and reviews of other bands and DJ's, this is a portion of the e-mail that was sent to The Great Imponderables at the end of Castle Ladyhawke's season:

"...would be most happy to know that you or your band will be entertaining at most of the weddings at the castle. 2010 will be a decisive year for Castle Ladyhawke! I feel good about the team we are putting together..." (by Castle Owners)

Castle Ladyhawke has since made arrangements with Elite Events and Catering to offer in-house service packages that will include The Great Imponderables as in-house entertainers for wedding DJ's and reception band.

In all the excitement of the wedding, I am not sure if I told you how many smiles came our way because of the fun music and variety of songs. You created a wonderful celebration and even included the things which personalized the wedding for our daughter and her husband. It was what they did to get the party started that made the difference. They didn't wear our guests out early. They played music that was not offensive and that most recognized and could enjoy.

They interacted enough to keep things moving, but not so much as to detract from the great music that they played!!! The music was the highlight of the reception!!!

They even took a request to let a friend sing with the band--Mustang Sally--it was great. They really made our guests feel like they were a part of the celebration!!!! I highly recommend TGI--it made all the difference to have live music!!!!!! -Sharie D.

Thank you so much for a great time last weekend. I have had so many people tell me that they LOVED having a live band and how much fun it was. The crowd also appreciated music that was not offensive and that they knew and recognized. I know my family had a great time.

I personally appreciate how organized everything was and that our guests did not have to wait for long once the wedding party arrived. In my opinion you made a great reception SPECTACULAR!

Michael and I just got back from our cruise, and we wanted to write to say thank-you so much for the amazing job your band did at our reception. We all had a blast. Everyone keeps commenting on how great you all were. You made our reception. You have several new fans number one being my 72 year old grandma, you had dancing all night. She said it made her feel 16 again. Both Michael and I love you and would highly recommend you to everyone. It also meant so much to Michael that you learned the Ben Harper song to play for our first dance. You don't find bands that eager to please much anymore, but you all go above and beyond. The Great Imponderables were awesome! Those in attendance couldn't stop
complimenting the music, the voices, the laser show and the break dancing.
It was different from any concert we've had here during the seven years
since Swain County Center for the Arts opened. I personally loved
everything about the show. I also noticed there were some students here,
which was really something considering there was a conference basketball
game going on at the same time.

You guys were great to work with and professionals all the way. I really
appreciate you coming in plenty of time to set-up and check everything

The Great Imponderables were very good about communicating before the wedding, in a timely manner, making sure all the details were covered, especially music desired by the bride and groom. They were very good about returning phone calls and e-mail promptly. They respected the couple's music choices and also made thoughtful recommendations. Most of all, the guests ( we had 155 guests ) loved the band, their talent and their personalities. They talked to the guests and motivated all to dance and have a great time! No one wanted to leave when it was time for the band to quit!

I Contracted The Great Imponderables for my Daughters Wedding, as a surprise to her, in Short Notice to the Band and was able to Pull it off with NO Hitches. Rick Creel was Great to work with, very Professional, informative, and responded to all my needs & Concerns. My Daughter & Son In-law had a Special Song that they wanted for the Bride & Groom Dance That was Totally out of The Great Imponderables Style of Music, However Rick allowed the Band to Play the Music & Let an outsider ( Outsider of the band) do the Vocals VERY ACCOMMODATING, Thanks Rick. I would NOT hesitate to hire The Great Imponderables again. May in the near Future. The band was upbeat, Fun & Kept the dance floor rocking. The band was great!
My unit at Buncombe County DSS hosts the annual Foster Adopt Fall Festival. I just wanted to let you guys know how much you added to our event this year! Your music was the perfect backdrop to the festivities, keeping everyone in an upbeat mood all afternoon.
