The Great Imponderables has a selection
of music that will have guests of all ages on the dance floor. From funk
to swing and everything in between. Beach/Shag, Motown, Swing, R&B,
Classic Rock. slow tunes, fast tunes, you name it.
The Great Imponderables will also
perform special songs not on our play list. Just let us know.
One of the reasons to hire a
professional band is that they know how to read a crowd. They will play
the appropriate music at the right time for it. They will also keep the
music mixed so that everyone will have a great time.
Our song list has been comprised of
music for all ages. It is appropriate for wedding receptions, fund
raisers, corporate, and other special events. It has been chosen for its
ability to keep crowds motivated and people on the dance floor. Many of
these have been compiled from several lists of most requested songs for
events.
A NOTE ABOUT CHOOSING MUSIC FOR WEDDING
RECEPTIONS: Some bands or DJ's will give you a list of music and
tell you to choose. So what are you paying them for if you do all
the work? They do weddings for a living. They know what works and
what doesn't and how to adjust according to the crowd. While they
may ask for a list of some of the music you would like to hear, the
final decision should be left up to them. They are the "wedding
experts". If you have to do all the choices, consider there may be
another issue involved.
