Anniversary in Morganton

The band had the opportunity to provide live music for an anniversary gathering in Morganton, NC recently. People of all ages attended this special event  and enjoyed food, friends, music, and dancing.

Lisa and Pernell are personal friends of ours. I don't know why. Maybe it's because we really like Lisa and feel sorry for her. After all, with all the guys in the world, she had to settle for him! Of course, he is a good provider for his family.

Even Lisa's  mom was happy to be here on such a joyous occasion. "At least she's not living at home, spending all her inheritance," said Lisa's mom reportedly. "I still don't get this guy. It certainly wasn't looks. Lisa has had her mental problems. We've been able to control that with medications,  but I never knew she had such poor eye sight. I'll have to get that checked for her."

For any special event, the band provides it's own security. When the live music begins, sometimes the crowd can get a little rowdy. When this happens, we send in our bouncer. Due to his tactful insight, "Little Wayne", as we like to call him, can usually settle the guests without having to get rough. "You girls need to settle down so you don't ruin it for the rest of the party," he tells them.

Whether it's an anniversary or any other special event, live music has it's affect on people. The band tries to play music for everyone. Sometimes, the guests just can't help but get up and dance. If you've got the moves, then bust a groove. The band does not supply, nor is it responsible for having a defibrillator on hand.

Of course, it's always special to have a special dance. Here, mother and son recount the years. "I'm so glad you didn't turn out like your father," she tells him.

Colby, this is a good time to tell your mom about that little incident with her car. Of course, if you haven't done so already, we strongly suggest you take care of this matter before she looks at  this site.

The party's over. It's time for the band to leave. Everyone had a great time. It was a surprise party for Lisa and Pernell Brown. Thanks for having us come. By the way, you're supposed to pay the band Pernell. The surprises just keep coming.
