The Competition Begins

We have been invited by "World Sings" to enter our song, "Runaway" into a worldwide competition. We are asking for your help. Please visit the site below to sign up and vote for "Runaway". Although this is not a "wedding song", it does describe the feelings we had when we lost a dear friend and relative. Happily, they did return and we are now releasing this single for your vote. Still, we must admit, Nathan did just return from Utah on a snowboarding trip with the flu when this song was recorded. We've just never redone it (yet).

New Year/New Succes for TGI

After many years, The Great Imponderables have finally been picked up by East Coast Entertainment. This was the agency that booked much of the talent for O'bama's inaugural parties. TGI is now listed along with the Atlanta Party Band, Liquid Pleasure and Party on the Moon (who both performed at the inaguaral), and many other great party and wedding bands. Another Happy Wedding

Thank you so much for a great time last weekend. I have had so many people tell me that they LOVED having a live band and how much fun it was. The crowd also appreciated music that was not offensive and that they knew and recognized. I know my family had a great time.

I personally appreciate how organized everything was and that our guests did not have to wait for long once the wedding party arrived. In my opinion you made a great reception SPECTACULAR!

Wedding Reception Band Wins National Award

The band traveled to Phoenix, Arizona last September. The reason for the trip? They were awarded the 2008 "Creme de la Creme" award as "Best Wedding Band" by the Wedding Merchants Business Association. Brides from across the US voted on their bands. The Great Imponderables received the highest marks and comments from their brides. "It's an honor to know that our brides had a great time. Weddings are important to us. We want to see the bride with her family and friends having the time of their lives", say band members. There will be more photo's of the event and details.
