Buncombe County says, "Thanks"

" I just wanted to let you guys know how much you added to our event this year! Your music was the perfect backdrop to the festivities, keeping everyone in an upbeat mood all afternoon." Department of Social Services Community Based Supervisor

It takes a lot to put together any event. When there are families involved, it takes even more. When you're trying to find families for kids that need adoptive or foster homes, it takes still more effort.

The band had the privilege of playing live music and being a part of such a special event. Here is the rest of what one of the organizers of that event had to say,

" The band was great!

My unit at Buncombe County DSS hosts the annual Foster Adopt Fall Festival. I just wanted to let you guys know how much you added to our event this year! Your music was the perfect backdrop to the festivities, keeping everyone in an upbeat mood all afternoon. Several people commented to me how much they were enjoying the music and how much it added to the day. I personally appreciated the variety of music that you played - it was great to hear the classics, and then to hear hits from bands like Green Day and Incubus in the mix! Thanks for giving your time to be a part of our event!"

Lara Turner
Community Based Services Supervisor
 Buncombe County DSS

Thank you Lara and all the staff at Buncombe County DSS! We enjoyed being a part of your event. It was a nice atmosphere for the band. Unlike many performances, it was very relaxed and casual. Being able to play a nice mix is what we enjoy the most. Seeing the kids come up and dance was also an enjoyable experience for us. After all, it was for the kids.

The bands desire was to offer live music in the hopes to boost attendance. People seem to  crowd around live performances. Events that individuals may not normally attend, will usually increase with live music playing.

The band hopes we accomplished this task. We also hope that more people have become aware  of the fine work that all of you at DSS are performing.

Family is an important institute. We desire to see all these kids in fine homes with loving families to support their interests and hobbies. Who knows, maybe these kids will be performing live music at one of your future events.
