October, 29 2005 > Band Prepares for Concert
The band is getting ready for its Asheville Concert. We will be playing live music on 11/12/2005 at the Asheville Civic Center. We will be performing for the annual "Foster/Adopt Fall Festival" sponsored by the Department of Social Services. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness in the communities of Western North Carolina of children in need of a caring family. There will be representatives from Asheville, Franklin, Sylva, Waynesville, and surrounding areas. DSS will have tables set up to assist and answer any questions individuals may have. This will be a family event. There will be inflatables, face painting, clowns, arts & crafts, story telling, and more. Come join the fun. The band will be performing live music from 1-4pm. Music from the 50's to today will be played. Popular dance songs will be performed, so if you want to dance or just have fun, grab a partner and go, go, go.
