Asheville Praises Band

One of the privileges of being in a band is the opportunity to play for so many people. Recently, in Asheville, NC, the band was able to play at a special event. The event coordinators had this to say about the band....

"Great Music, Great Attitude.

We are so thrilled that we took the "risk" and booked you for our event - the Foster/Adopt Fall Festival.

Your music kept people in a festive mood and they lingered longer, learning more about the children who need adoptive homes. We had many, many comments both from people working the event as well as from people who attended praising your music and asking "Who are they?! They're great!"

I would also like to praise your professionalism, manners, and flexibility. In many ways, as the organizer of this event, those characteristics were as important to me as your playing. You kept in touch, showed up on time, were flexible about what you played and how loud, and were just generally cheerful and accommodating. Moreover, I really appreciated your taking the initiative to offer several ways that you could help that I had not even thought of. You really went above and beyond to make this event a success.

Thank you Erica. Not only did we have a great time, we considered it a privilege to be a part of your special event. We learned a lot about all the work you and DSS do in behalf of the kids. You are great yourselves in all that you do. We hope we can do it all again, soon.

And by the way, say thanks to your husband in helping out with our sound. It was nice to have another professional sound man sit in while ours was out. I wish we could have jammed with him  a little longer too. He's really a great guitar player and needs to put his musical talent to work.
